It is believed that after a Bride & Groom held their Wedding at the brides family house. After they said their "I DO's" during their ceremony, they had a reception to follow.
At some point through the night, the Bride wanted to get the kids more involved with the reception festivities and decided to engage them in a game of Hide & Seek (hence the name of the urban legend is aka Bride & Seek)
The Groom went looking for her but could not locate her. He searched and searched to no avail and eventually though she left him for good.
Several months later she was discovered in the attic in a chest that she hid but accidently locked closed. While the story is dark, we love the fact that the Bride simply wanted to have some fun with her younger guests and thus we thought this Urban Legend would make for great inspiration in our Wedding Photography direction
