In Their Own Words

"Matt and I met on im pretty sure it was Plenty of Fish, we actually talked for a pretty long time before we met, it kind of fizzled out. I remember being at target looking at my phone and I yelled at him over a text message going WHY DID YOU STOP TALKING TO ME! :)

our first date was soon after! actually on November 8th, close to three years ago. I came right after work at a pizza shop and the only thing I was able to change was my shirt. We met at a Barns and Noble. I remember reading a bag when he came in, but we hit it off pretty quickly. We went to a craft store to get yarn for a project I was working on, that project is not done I gave up making the blanket, and I was throwing all of my pink yarn at him. We then got dinner at a diner close by. Our first kiss was that night, I was looking for something to do and all he said was Mellisa and kissed me.

we fell in love quickly. he is just perfect to match myself. He is very outgoing and likes to be around people, whereas I don't like to be around a lot of people and am a lot more cynical. about 6 months after we met I got Lasik Surgery to fix my vision. and he was there the entire time. I was on Valium and was in and out of sleep all day and he never left. Matt has always been their for me. He is kind, quirky, and we have the best time together, no matter what we do. We do fight, but our fights usually end very quickly, it helps having a dog that wont go to bed unless both humans are in the same room! He is my perfect match.

Matt proposed one day in July, we were both drinking and I knew he the ring. and he spent Months trying to figure out the perfect way to propose. we were just relaxing and having a good time at home in our apartment. and he asked me to just Wear the engagement ring so he can finally call me his wife. (he would often call me his wife and I would always say nope, not until you give me a ring). his proposal was so sweet, and it was just us, not a flashy show, or anything big, but its definitely special"..
